Epson I3200(8)-A1HD Printhead | 8-Color Aqueous HD Head
The Epson I3200(8)-A1HD printhead is a compact aqueous PrecisionCore MicroTFP head designed for high-definition industrial printing. It combines 3,200 nozzles, support for up to eight ink colours and resolution up to 1,200 npi, making it suitable for accurately configured single-pass and multi-pass systems.
High-density aqueous printing in a compact format
Epson developed the I3200(8)-A1HD to provide more colour flexibility and higher nozzle density than the four-channel I3200(4)-A1. Precision MEMS nozzles, thin-film piezo elements and Variable Sized Droplet Technology support detailed output and smooth tonal transitions.
Eight-colour flexibility
Eight nozzle rows can handle up to eight aqueous ink colours at 300 npi per colour for expanded colour configurations.
Up to 1,200 npi
Four-row operation reaches 1,200 npi when using two colours, supporting high-definition detail in a compact 1.33-inch head.
Variable Sized Droplet Technology
Binary, three-level and four-level output modes provide droplets from 3.8 to 12.3 pL for detail, gradients and coverage.
Single-pass and multi-pass use
The high-density architecture supports accurately engineered single-pass lines and multi-pass carriage systems.
