Epson I3200-U1 & I1600-U1 UV Industrial Printheads
The Epson I3200-U1 and I1600-U1 printheads are compact PrecisionCore MicroTFP heads developed for compatible UV ink systems. Both offer a 33.8 mm print width, up to four colours and Variable Sized Droplet Technology, while the I3200-U1 doubles the nozzle count for higher potential productivity.
PrecisionCore performance for UV printing
Advanced MEMS processing and thin-film piezo elements provide dense nozzle placement in a compact body. Epson’s precisely formed ink paths and Variable Sized Droplet Technology support accurate dot placement and smooth gradients in correctly engineered UV printing systems.
High-density output
Both heads reach 600 npi over two rows and support up to four colours for fine text, graphics and image detail.
Variable grayscale droplets
Binary, three-level and four-level modes provide droplet options from 3.8 to 12.5 pL for detail and controlled ink coverage.
I3200-U1 productivity
Its 3,200 nozzles across eight rows offer twice the nozzle resources of I1600-U1 for higher potential production speed.
I1600-U1 efficiency
Its 1,600-nozzle architecture retains the same width, resolution and droplet performance for systems designed around the I1600 platform.
