SkyCut Grit Roller | for A3 Max 4 & Higher Models
The SkyCut grit roller is the textured drive roller that moves each sheet through the SkyCut A3 Max 4 and higher A3 Max cutting plotters. The pinch rollers press the media down onto it, and together they keep stickers, labels and cardstock feeding straight. If your cuts drift, sheets slip or contour cuts stop lining up with printed marks, a worn or damaged grit roller is a likely cause.
Why the grit roller matters on an A3 Max 4
The A3 Max 4 auto-feeds a stack of up to 180 sheets and cuts each one back and forth at high servo-driven speed. That only stays accurate if the cutting plotter grit roller grips every sheet the same way. Replacing a worn roller brings back the straight feeding and repeat accuracy the machine was built for.

The gritted surface grips the underside of each sheet so it moves forward and back in a straight line without twisting.
